Presentation about Traditional Chinese Medicine

Xiangling Shi gave a presentation on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Harpenden ( for the Harpenden Complementary Health Network) on 12-06-2018. It was quite a big topic to cover in a brief presentation, as a qualified Chinese doctor has to study TCM in a specialised university for five years.

TCM treatment includes herbs, acupuncture, tuina, moxibustion, and other approaches.

She mainly discussed how and why Chinese herbs are effective, the safety, processes followed by Chinese herbalists, as compared to other herbal treatment methods…
