What is infertility and how can we help you?

Infertility refers to the difficulty a woman of normal fertile age has in conceiving, or in carrying a pregnancy to full term, after several months of a normal sex life. This difficulty is usually related to the ovaries (producing only partially developed eggs), to the Fallopian tubes (not smooth enough to allow sperm to pass through), or to the uterus (structural problems).  Women in excellent health can experience infertility problems – they often have trouble becoming pregnant or are prone to miscarriage, and IVF and other conventional treatments often prove of no help.  If this is your situation, then please come and see us.  We can help you with herbs, acupuncture, or both.
